Jolteon 28/90 · HS—Undaunted

Jolteon is Pokédex #135, generation 1 (Kanto). Jolteon is a Stage 1 Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP. The card says it evolves from Eevee. In this catalog that name is Eevee (#133).

Jolteon sits at 28/90 in HS—Undaunted, position 28 of 91. Before it is 27 Gloom, and after it is 29 Lairon. The set belongs to the HeartGold & SoulSilver series. It was released on August 18, 2010. The printed size is 90. This checklist is longer, at 91 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Agility lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Jolteon during your opponent's next turn. Mach Bolt is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. The flavor text reads "It concentrates the weak electric charges emitted by its cells and launches wicked lightning bolts."

Jolteon (#135) has 38 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 28 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2025. The earliest other card is Jolteon 4/64 in Jungle (1999). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. 35 other cards of Jolteon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin Nagasawa. I count 303 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

HS—Undaunted set binder is where a full HS—Undaunted set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jolteon can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Eevee and the Eeveelutions. I still need this card.
