Maractus 2/12 · McDonald's Collection 2011

Maractus is Pokédex #556, generation 5 (Unova). Maractus is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 80 HP.

Maractus sits at 2/12 in McDonald's Collection 2011, position 2 of 12. Before it is 1 Snivy, and after it is 3 Tepig. The set belongs to the Other series. It was released on June 17, 2011. The printed size is 12, and the checklist is the same length.

The attack Mega Drain lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass. Heal 20 damage from this Pokémon. Pin Missile is another attack lists 20× damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. Flip 4 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It uses an up-tempo song and dance to drive away the bird Pokémon that prey on its flower seeds."

Maractus (#556) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Maractus 11/114 in Black & White (2011). Both list 80 HP. 11 other cards of Maractus list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

McDonald's Collection 2011 set binder is where a full McDonald's Collection 2011 set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Maractus can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
