Pyroar 24/132 · Mega Evolution

Mega Evolution is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 26, 2025. The printed size is 132. This checklist is longer, at 188 cards. Pyroar is 24/132, in position 24 of 188 on this checklist. Before it is 23 Litleo, and after it is 25 Volcanion. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Pyroar is a Stage 1 Fire Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Pyroar (#668), generation 6 (Kalos). The card says it evolves from Litleo. In this catalog that name is Litleo (#667).

Pyroar (#668) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pyroar XY26/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. 12 other cards of Pyroar list a different HP.

Intimidating Fang is listed as Ability. As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, attacks used by your opponent's Active Pokémon do 30 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Searing Flame lists 70 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Burned. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Mega Evolution, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Mega Evolution set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pyroar can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
