Mega Sharpedo ex 127/94 · Phantasmal Flames

Sharpedo is Pokédex #319, generation 3 (Hoenn). Mega Sharpedo ex is a Stage 1 MEGA ex Darkness Pokémon with 330 HP. The card says it evolves from Carvanha. In this catalog that name is Carvanha (#318).

Mega Sharpedo ex sits at 127/94 in Phantasmal Flames, position 127 of 130. Before it is 126 Rotom ex, and after it is 128 Mega Lopunny ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on November 14, 2025. The printed size is 94. This checklist is longer, at 130 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 94. The listed rarity is Special Illustration Rare.

The attack Greedy Fang lists 70 damage. The cost is Darkness. Draw 2 cards. Hungry Jaws is another attack lists 120+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness. If this Pokémon has any damage counters on it, this attack does 150 more damage. Weakness is Grass ×2. The card text says: Mega Evolution ex Rule: When your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is I.

Sharpedo (#319) has 25 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Sharpedo 22/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card is named Sharpedo, while this one is Mega Sharpedo ex. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 330 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Special Illustration Rare. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. 23 other cards of Sharpedo list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantasmal Flames set binder is where a full Phantasmal Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sharpedo can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
