Seviper 62/94 · Phantasmal Flames

Seviper is Pokédex #336, generation 3 (Hoenn). Seviper is a Basic Darkness Pokémon with 120 HP.

Seviper sits at 62/94 in Phantasmal Flames, position 62 of 130. Before it is 61 Mega Sharpedo ex, and after it is 63 Absol. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on November 14, 2025. The printed size is 94. This checklist is longer, at 130 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Excited Power is listed as Ability. If you have any Darkness Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in play, attacks used by this Pokémon do 120 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Pitch-Black Fangs lists 120 damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Darkness. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It sharpens its swordlike tail on hard rocks. It hides in tall grass and strikes unwary prey with venomous fangs." The regulation mark is I.

Seviper (#336) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2023. The earliest other card is Seviper 11/100 in Sandstorm (2003). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and hncl illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 15 other cards of Seviper list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads hncl. I count 30 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Phantasmal Flames set binder is where a full Phantasmal Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Seviper can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
