Ascended Heroes is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on January 30, 2026. The printed size is 217. This checklist is longer, at 295 cards. N's Darmanitan is 33/217, in position 33 of 295 on this checklist. Before it is 32 N's Darumaka, and after it is 34 Salandit. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

N's Darmanitan is a Stage 1 Fire Pokémon with 140 HP. In the Pokédex this is Darmanitan (#555), generation 5 (Unova). The card says it evolves from N's Darumaka. In this catalog that name is Darumaka (#554).

nagimiso illustrated this card. The same name is on 156 other cards in the catalog.

Darmanitan (#555) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Darmanitan 25/114 in Black & White (2011). That card is named Darmanitan, while this one is N's Darmanitan. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Uncommon. Naoki Saito illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 12 other cards of Darmanitan list a different HP.

The attack Back Draft lists 30× damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 30 damage for each Basic Energy card in your opponent's discard pile. Flamebody Cannon is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. Discard all Energy from this Pokémon, and this attack also does 90 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "This Pokémon’s power level rises along with the temperature of its fire, which can reach 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit." The regulation mark is I.

I keep a set binder for Ascended Heroes, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ascended Heroes set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Darmanitan can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Trainer's Pokémon and N and his Pokémon. I still need this card.
