Mega Pyroar ex 99/86 · Chaos Rising

Pyroar is Pokédex #668, generation 6 (Kalos). Mega Pyroar ex is a Stage 1 MEGA ex Fire Pokémon with 340 HP. The card says it evolves from Litleo. In this catalog that name is Litleo (#667).

Mega Pyroar ex sits at 99/86 in Chaos Rising, position 99 of 122. Before it is 98 Beedrill ex, and after it is 100 Mega Greninja ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on May 22, 2026. The printed size is 86. This checklist is longer, at 122 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 86. The listed rarity is Ultra Rare.

The attack Ferocious Bellow lists 80 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, attacks used by the Defending Pokémon do 50 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Fiery Big Bang is another attack lists 290- damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. This attack does 10 less damage for each damage counter on this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Mega Evolution ex Rule: When your Mega Evolution Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is J.

Pyroar (#668) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pyroar XY26/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Pyroar, while this one is Mega Pyroar ex. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 340 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Ultra Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Keisuke Azuma illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Pyroar list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Keisuke Azuma. I count 4 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Chaos Rising set binder is where a full Chaos Rising set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pyroar can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
