Pikachu ex 149/128 · 30th Celebration

Pikachu is Pokédex #025, generation 1 (Kanto). Pikachu ex is a Basic ex Lightning Pokémon with 190 HP.

Pikachu ex sits at 149/128 in 30th Celebration, position 149 of 161. Before it is 148 Greninja ex, and after it is 150 Pikachu ex. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 128. The listed rarity is Special Illustration Rare.

The attack Pika-Pika Parade lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for any number of Basic Pokémon and put them onto your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck. Thunderbolt is another attack lists 200 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Discard all Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Pikachu, while this one is Pikachu ex. That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 190 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Special Illustration Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and kantaro illustrated this one. 197 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kantaro. I count 33 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

30th Celebration set binder is where a full 30th Celebration set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
