Palkia G 12/127 · Platinum

Palkia is Pokédex #484, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Palkia G is a Basic SP Water Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 78.

Palkia G sits at 12/127 in Platinum, position 12 of 133. Before it is 11 Manectric, and after it is 13 Rampardos. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on February 11, 2009. The printed size is 127. This checklist is longer, at 133 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Splashing Turn lists 20 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. You may switch Palkia G with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Pearl Breath is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. Does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2.

Palkia (#484) has 39 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 21 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Palkia 11/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Palkia, while this one is Palkia G. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Yusuke Ishikawa illustrated this one. 35 other cards of Palkia list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Yusuke Ishikawa. I count 14 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Platinum set binder is where a full Platinum set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Palkia can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
