Cherubi 13/17 · POP Series 6

POP Series 6 is a set in the POP series. It was released on September 1, 2007. The printed size is 17, and the checklist is the same length. Cherubi is 13/17, in position 13 of 17 on this checklist. Before it is 12 Buneary, and after it is 14 Chimchar. The listed rarity is Common.

Cherubi is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists level 7. In the Pokédex this is Cherubi (#420), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card lists Cherrim, Cherrim (#421) under evolves to.

Atsuko Nishida illustrated this card. The same name is on 408 other cards in the catalog.

Cherubi (#420) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cherubi 75/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 50 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Cherubi list a different HP.

The attack Sleep Powder lists no damage number. The cost is Grass. The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Leech Seed is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. If this attack does any damage to the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), remove 1 damage counter from Cherubi. Weakness is Fire +10. Resistance is Water -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The small ball holds the nutrients needed for evolution. Apparently, it is very sweet and tasty."

I keep a set binder for POP Series 6, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the POP Series 6 set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cherubi can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
