Cherubi 10/156 · Ultra Prism

Cherubi is Pokédex #420, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Cherubi is a Basic Grass Pokémon with 50 HP. The card lists Cherrim, Cherrim (#421) under evolves to.

Cherubi sits at 10/156 in Ultra Prism, position 10 of 178. Before it is 9 Torterra, and after it is 11 Cherrim. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Surprise Attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It evolves by sucking the energy out of the small ball where it had been storing nutrients."

Cherubi (#420) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cherubi 75/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 50 HP. Both list the rarity Common. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Asako Ito illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Cherubi list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Asako Ito. I count 35 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ultra Prism set binder is where a full Ultra Prism set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cherubi can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
