Cherrim 11/156 · Ultra Prism

Ultra Prism is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. Cherrim is 11/156, in position 11 of 178 on this checklist. Before it is 10 Cherubi, and after it is 12 Carnivine. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Cherrim is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Cherrim (#421), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Cherubi. In this catalog that name is Cherubi (#420).

MAHOU illustrated this card. The same name is on 122 other cards in the catalog.

Cherrim (#421) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cherrim 45/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and MAHOU illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 1 other cards of Cherrim list a different HP.

Weather Guard is listed as Ability. Your Grass Pokémon have no Weakness. The attack Seed Bomb lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "If it senses strong sunlight, it opens its folded petals to absorb the sun's rays with its whole body."

I keep a set binder for Ultra Prism, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ultra Prism set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cherrim can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
