Pyukumuku 47/149 · Sun & Moon

Pyukumuku is Pokédex #771, generation 7 (Alola). Pyukumuku is a Basic Water Pokémon with 60 HP.

Pyukumuku sits at 47/149 in Sun & Moon, position 47 of 173. Before it is 46 Araquanid, and after it is 48 Bruxish. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 149. This checklist is longer, at 173 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Innards Out is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack, put 6 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon. The attack Continuous Tumble lists 30× damage. The cost is Water. Flip a coin until you get tails. This attack does 30 damage for each heads. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It lives in shallow seas, such as areas near a beach. It can eject its internal organs, which it uses to engulf its prey or battle enemies."

Pyukumuku (#771) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2021. The earliest other card is Pyukumuku 53/214 in Unbroken Bonds (2019). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Asako Ito illustrated that card, and You Iribi illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Pyukumuku list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads You Iribi. I count 50 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Sun & Moon set binder is where a full Sun & Moon set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pyukumuku can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Beach and shore Pokémon. I still need this card.
