Ribombee 93/149 · Sun & Moon

Sun & Moon is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 149. This checklist is longer, at 173 cards. Ribombee is 93/149, in position 93 of 173 on this checklist. Before it is 92 Cutiefly, and after it is 94 Dratini. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Ribombee is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Ribombee (#743), generation 7 (Alola). The card says it evolves from Cutiefly. In this catalog that name is Cutiefly (#742).

Shin Nagasawa illustrated this card. The same name is on 303 other cards in the catalog.

Ribombee (#743) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Ribombee 96/147 in Burning Shadows (2017). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo. Megumi Mizutani illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Ribombee list a different HP.

Curative Pollen is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may heal 20 damage from 1 of your Pokémon. The attack Fairy Wind lists 30 damage. The cost is Fairy. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It rolls up pollen into puffs. It makes many different varieties, some used as food and others used in battle."

I keep a set binder for Sun & Moon, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Sun & Moon set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ribombee can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
