Ribombee 96/147 · Burning Shadows

Ribombee is Pokédex #743, generation 7 (Alola). Ribombee is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 70 HP. The card says it evolves from Cutiefly. In this catalog that name is Cutiefly (#742).

Ribombee sits at 96/147 in Burning Shadows, position 100 of 177. Before it is 95 Cutiefly, and after it is 97 Morelull. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 5, 2017. The printed size is 147. This checklist is longer, at 177 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Honey Gather is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for up to 2 basic Energy cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. The attack Pollen Shot lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It rolls up pollen into puffs. It makes many different varieties, some used as food and others used in battle."

Ribombee (#743) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Ribombee 93/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Shin Nagasawa illustrated that card, and Megumi Mizutani illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Ribombee list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Megumi Mizutani. I count 133 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Burning Shadows set binder is where a full Burning Shadows set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ribombee can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
