Zygarde 124/236 · Unified Minds

Unified Minds is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. Zygarde is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Zygarde (#718), generation 6 (Kalos).

Shigenori Negishi illustrated this card. The same name is on 151 other cards in the catalog.

Zygarde (#718) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zygarde XY129/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Shigenori Negishi illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 23 other cards of Zygarde list a different HP.

Cellular Companions is listed as Ability. As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, your Zygarde's and Zygarde-GX's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Boost Fang lists 20 damage. The cost is Fighting. Attach a Fighting Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This is Zygarde when about 10% of its pieces have been assembled. It leaps at its opponent's chest and sinks its sharp fangs into them."

I keep a set binder for Unified Minds, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Unified Minds set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zygarde can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
