Zygarde XY129/211 · XY Black Star Promos

Zygarde is Pokédex #718, generation 6 (Kalos). Zygarde is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 120 HP.

Zygarde sits at XY129/211 in XY Black Star Promos, position 130 of 216. Before it is XY128 White Kyurem, and after it is XY130 Tyranitar. The set belongs to the XY series. It was released on October 12, 2013. The printed size is 211. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Rumble lists 30 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. The Defending Pokémon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Geostrike is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. This attack does 10 damage to each of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It's hypothesized that it's monitoring those those who destroy the ecosystem from deep in the cave where it lives."

Zygarde (#718) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zygarde-EX XY151/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card is named Zygarde-EX, while this one is Zygarde. That card lists 190 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Eske Yoshinob illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 24 other cards of Zygarde list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

XY Black Star Promos set binder is where a full XY Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zygarde can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
