Thundurus 68/236 · Unified Minds

Thundurus is Pokédex #642, generation 5 (Unova). Thundurus is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 120 HP.

Thundurus sits at 68/236 in Unified Minds, position 68 of 261. Before it is 67 Stunfisk, and after it is 69 Tapu Koko. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Thunderous Gale lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. If Tornadus is on your Bench, this attack does 50 more damage. Raging Thunder is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. This attack does 40 damage to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The spikes on its tail discharge immense bolts of lightning. It flies around the Unova region firing off lightning bolts."

Thundurus (#642) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Thundurus BW41/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card lists 110 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Anesaki Dynamic illustrated this one. 12 other cards of Thundurus list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Anesaki Dynamic. I count 134 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unified Minds set binder is where a full Unified Minds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Thundurus can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
