Xurkitree 70/236 · Unified Minds

Unified Minds is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. Xurkitree is 70/236, in position 70 of 261 on this checklist. Before it is 69 Tapu Koko, and after it is 71 Mewtwo & Mew-GX. The listed rarity is Rare.

Xurkitree is a Basic Ultra Beast Lightning Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Xurkitree (#796), generation 7 (Alola).

Satoshi Shirai illustrated this card. The same name is on 50 other cards in the catalog.

Xurkitree (#796) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2019. The earliest other card is Xurkitree-GX SM68/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Xurkitree-GX, while this one is Xurkitree. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Satoshi Shirai illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Xurkitree list a different HP.

The attack Three Mirrors lists 30+ damage. The cost is Lightning. If your opponent has exactly 3 Prize cards remaining, this attack does 90 more damage. Signal Beam is another attack lists 50 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Although it's alien to this world and a danger here, it's apparently a common organism in the world where it normally lives."

I keep a set binder for Unified Minds, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Unified Minds set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Xurkitree can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
