Jynx 76/236 · Unified Minds

Unified Minds is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. Jynx is 76/236, in position 76 of 261 on this checklist. Before it is 75 Alolan Marowak, and after it is 77 Wynaut. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Jynx is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Jynx (#124), generation 1 (Kanto).

sowsow illustrated this card. The same name is on 104 other cards in the catalog.

Jynx (#124) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jynx 31/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and sowsow illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 26 other cards of Jynx list a different HP.

Ominous Posture is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may move 1 damage counter from 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. The attack Attract Smack lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It sways its hips to a rhythm all its own. The precise movements of Jynx living in Alola are truly wonderful."

I keep a set binder for Unified Minds, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Unified Minds set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jynx can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
