Marshadow 103/236 · Cosmic Eclipse

Cosmic Eclipse is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 1, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 272 cards. Marshadow is 103/236, in position 103 of 272 on this checklist. Before it is 102 Lunala, and after it is 104 Blacephalon. The listed rarity is Rare.

Marshadow is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Marshadow (#802), generation 7 (Alola).

0313 illustrated this card. The same name is on 62 other cards in the catalog.

Marshadow (#802) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Marshadow-GX SM59/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Marshadow-GX, while this one is Marshadow. That card lists 150 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and 0313 illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Marshadow list a different HP.

The attack Shadow Imitation lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Choose 1 of your opponent's Active Pokémon's non-GX attacks and use it as this attack. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It slips into the shadows of others and mimics their powers and movements. As it improves, it becomes stronger than those it's imitating."

I keep a set binder for Cosmic Eclipse, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Cosmic Eclipse set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Marshadow can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
