Comfey 93/145 · Guardians Rising

Comfey is Pokédex #764, generation 7 (Alola). Comfey is a Basic Fairy Pokémon with 70 HP.

Comfey sits at 93/145 in Guardians Rising, position 98 of 180. Before it is 92a Sylveon-GX, and after it is 94 Goomy. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 5, 2017. The printed size is 145. This checklist is longer, at 180 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Flower Shield is listed as Ability. Each of your Pokémon that has any Fairy Energy attached to it can't be affected by any Special Conditions. Remove any Special Conditions affecting those Pokémon. The attack Sweet Kiss lists 30 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. Your opponent draws a card. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It attaches flowers to its highly nutritious vine. This revitalizes the flowers, and they give off an aromatic scent."

Comfey (#764) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Comfey SWSH242/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Teeziro illustrated that card, and Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated this one.

The illustrator line reads Sanosuke Sakuma. I count 158 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Guardians Rising set binder is where a full Guardians Rising set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Comfey can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
