Comfey SWSH242/307 · SWSH Black Star Promos

Comfey is Pokédex #764, generation 7 (Alola). Comfey is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP.

Comfey sits at SWSH242/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 242 of 304. Before it is SWSH241 Gengar, and after it is SWSH243 Machamp. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Flower Selecting is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, if this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, you may look at the top 2 cards of your deck and put 1 of them into your hand. Put the other card in the Lost Zone. The attack Spinning Attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Comfey picks flowers with its vine and decorates itself with them. For some reason, flowers won't wither once they're attached to a Comfey." The regulation mark is F.

Comfey (#764) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Comfey 93/145 in Guardians Rising (2017). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated that card, and Teeziro illustrated this one.

The illustrator line reads Teeziro. I count 70 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Comfey can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Flower Pokémon. I still need this card.
