Drapion 55/156 · Ultra Prism

Ultra Prism is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. Drapion is 55/156, in position 55 of 178 on this checklist. Before it is 54 Skorupi, and after it is 56 Croagunk. The listed rarity is Rare.

Drapion is a Stage 1 Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Drapion (#452), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Skorupi. In this catalog that name is Skorupi (#451).

Studio Bora Inc. illustrated this card. The same name is on 92 other cards in the catalog.

Drapion (#452) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Drapion 23/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Studio Bora Inc. illustrated this one. 16 other cards of Drapion list a different HP.

The attack Dangerous Stinger lists 100 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Psychic, Psychic. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed and Poisoned. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It has the power in its clawed arms to make scrap of a car. The tips of its claws release poison."

I keep a set binder for Ultra Prism, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Ultra Prism set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Drapion can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
