Bronzong 87/156 · Ultra Prism

Bronzong is Pokédex #437, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Bronzong is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Bronzor. In this catalog that name is Bronzor (#436).

Bronzong sits at 87/156 in Ultra Prism, position 87 of 178. Before it is 86 Bronzor, and after it is 88 Heatran. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Psy Bolt lists 20 damage. The cost is Metal. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Psychic Resonance is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent has any Psychic Pokémon in play, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Ancient people believed that petitioning Bronzong for rain was the way to make crops grow."

Bronzong (#437) has 28 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Bronzong 6/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Daisuke Ito illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Bronzong list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ultra Prism set binder is where a full Ultra Prism set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Bronzong can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
