Tapu Lele 94/156 · Ultra Prism

Tapu Lele is Pokédex #786, generation 7 (Alola). Tapu Lele is a Basic Fairy Pokémon with 110 HP.

Tapu Lele sits at 94/156 in Ultra Prism, position 94 of 178. Before it is 93 Shiinotic, and after it is 95 Alolan Exeggutor. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Psywave lists 20× damage. The cost is Fairy. This attack does 20 damage times the amount of Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. Magical Swap is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. Move any number of damage counters on your opponent's Pokémon to their other Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This guardian deity of Akala is guilelessly cruel. The fragrant aroma of flowers is the source of its energy."

Tapu Lele (#786) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2024. The earliest other card is Tapu Lele SM45/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). Both list 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. You Iribi illustrated that card, and Shin Nagasawa illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Tapu Lele list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shin Nagasawa. I count 303 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ultra Prism set binder is where a full Ultra Prism set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Tapu Lele can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Island guardians and Flower Pokémon. I still need this card.
