Tapu Lele SM152/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Tapu Lele is Pokédex #786, generation 7 (Alola). Tapu Lele is a Basic Fairy Pokémon with 110 HP.

Tapu Lele sits at SM152/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 155 of 251. Before it is SM151 Giratina, and after it is SM153 Rowlet. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Charmed Charm is listed as Ability. Whenever you attach a Pokémon Tool card that has "Fairy Charm" in its name from your hand to this Pokémon during your turn, you may leave your opponent's Active Pokémon Confused. The attack Magical Shot lists 70 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "As it flutters about, it scatters its strangely glowing scales. Touching them is said to restore good health on the spot."

Tapu Lele (#786) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2024. The earliest other card is Tapu Lele SM45/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). Both list 110 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. You Iribi illustrated that card, and HYOGONOSUKE illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Tapu Lele list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads HYOGONOSUKE. I count 76 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Tapu Lele can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Island guardians. I still need this card.
