Clawitzer 26/131 · Forbidden Light

Clawitzer is Pokédex #693, generation 6 (Kalos). Clawitzer is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Clauncher. In this catalog that name is Clauncher (#692).

Clawitzer sits at 26/131 in Forbidden Light, position 27 of 150. Before it is 25 Clauncher, and after it is 27 Amaura. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 4, 2018. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 150 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Standing By lists no damage number. The cost is Water. During your next turn, this Pokémon's Sharpshooting attack does 120 damage instead of 40. Sharpshooting is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Water. This attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "By expelling water from the nozzle in the back of its claw, it can move at a speed of 60 knots."

Clawitzer (#693) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2025. The earliest other card is Clawitzer XY146/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). Both list 100 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and otumami illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Clawitzer list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads otumami. I count 44 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Forbidden Light set binder is where a full Forbidden Light set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Clawitzer can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
