Celesteela 100/168 · Celestial Storm

Celesteela is Pokédex #797, generation 7 (Alola). Celesteela is a Basic Ultra Beast Metal Pokémon with 140 HP.

Celesteela sits at 100/168 in Celestial Storm, position 101 of 187. Before it is 99 Solgaleo, and after it is 101 Kartana. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 3, 2018. The printed size is 168. This checklist is longer, at 187 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack Moon Raker lists 160 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. If the total of both players' remaining Prize cards is exactly 6, this attack can be used for Metal. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 4. The flavor text reads "One kind of Ultra Beast. Witnesses have seen it burn down a forest by expelling gas from its two arms."

Celesteela (#797) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2019. The earliest other card is Celesteela-GX SM67/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Celesteela-GX, while this one is Celesteela. That card lists 200 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and kawayoo illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Celesteela list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kawayoo. I count 209 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Celestial Storm set binder is where a full Celestial Storm set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Celesteela can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
