Lapras 21/70 · Dragon Majesty

Dragon Majesty is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on September 7, 2018. The printed size is 70. This checklist is longer, at 80 cards. Lapras is 21/70, in position 21 of 80 on this checklist. Before it is 20 Gyarados, and after it is 22 Totodile. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Lapras is a Basic Water Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Lapras (#131), generation 1 (Kanto).

Saya Tsuruta illustrated this card. The same name is on 123 other cards in the catalog.

Lapras (#131) has 49 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 36 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Lapras 10/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Saya Tsuruta illustrated this one. 43 other cards of Lapras list a different HP.

The attack Aqua Bullet lists 20 damage. The cost is Water. This attack does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Hydro Pump is another attack lists 70+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 10 more damage times the amount of Water Energy attached to this Pokémon. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "These Pokémon were once near extinction due to poaching. Following protective regulations, there is now an overabundance of them."

I keep a set binder for Dragon Majesty, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragon Majesty set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lapras can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
