Charizard 3/70 · Dragon Majesty

Dragon Majesty is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on September 7, 2018. The printed size is 70. This checklist is longer, at 80 cards. Charizard is 3/70, in position 3 of 80 on this checklist. Before it is 2 Charmeleon, and after it is 4 Torchic. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Charizard is a Stage 2 Fire Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Charizard (#006), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Charmeleon. In this catalog that name is Charmeleon (#005).

Ryota Murayama illustrated this card. The same name is on 55 other cards in the catalog.

Charizard (#006) has 106 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 50 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Charizard 4/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Ryota Murayama illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 98 other cards of Charizard list a different HP.

Resolute Flame is listed as Ability. This Pokémon's attacks do 30 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon for each of their Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX in play. The attack Fiery Blast lists 130 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. Discard an Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its wings can carry this Pokémon close to an altitude of 4,600 feet. It blows out fire at very high temperatures."

I keep a set binder for Dragon Majesty, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Dragon Majesty set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Charizard can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Charizard cards. I still need this card.
