Mimikyu-GX 149/214 · Lost Thunder

Mimikyu is Pokédex #778, generation 7 (Alola). Mimikyu-GX is a Basic GX Fairy Pokémon with 170 HP.

Mimikyu-GX sits at 149/214 in Lost Thunder, position 149 of 240. Before it is 148 Shiinotic, and after it is 150 Tapu Lele. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 2, 2018. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 240 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo GX.

The attack Perplex lists no damage number. The cost is Fairy. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Let's Snuggle & Fall is another attack lists 10+ damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. This attack does 30 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent's Active Pokémon. Dream Fear-GX is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Fairy. Choose 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Your opponent shuffles that Pokémon and all cards attached to it into their deck. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Mimikyu (#778) has 33 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mimikyu SM29/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Mimikyu, while this one is Mimikyu-GX. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo GX. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 31 other cards of Mimikyu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Lost Thunder set binder is where a full Lost Thunder set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mimikyu can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Mimikyu cards. I still need this card.
