Giratina 97/214 · Lost Thunder

Giratina is Pokédex #487, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Giratina is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP.

Giratina sits at 97/214 in Lost Thunder, position 97 of 240. Before it is 96 Sableye, and after it is 98 Sigilyph-GX. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 2, 2018. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 240 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Distortion Door is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), if this Pokémon is in your discard pile, you may put it onto your Bench. If you do, put 1 damage counter on 2 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. The attack Shadow Impact lists 130 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Put 4 damage counters on 1 of your Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It was banished for its violence. It silently gazed upon the old world from the Distortion World."

Giratina (#487) has 29 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2023. The earliest other card is Giratina LV.X DP38/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Giratina LV.X, while this one is Giratina. Both list 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and Hasuno illustrated this one. 22 other cards of Giratina list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hasuno. I count 74 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Lost Thunder set binder is where a full Lost Thunder set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Giratina can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). Themed lists that include this exact card are Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. I still need this card.
