Lost Thunder is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 2, 2018. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 240 cards. Sigilyph-GX is 98/214, in position 98 of 240 on this checklist. Before it is 97 Giratina, and after it is 99 Yamask. The listed rarity is Rare Holo GX.
Sigilyph-GX is a Basic GX Psychic Pokémon with 170 HP. In the Pokédex this is Sigilyph (#561), generation 5 (Unova).
PLANETA Otani illustrated this card. The same name is on 14 other cards in the catalog.
Sigilyph (#561) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Sigilyph 41/98 in Emerging Powers (2011). That card is named Sigilyph, while this one is Sigilyph-GX. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Rare Holo GX. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and PLANETA Otani illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 15 other cards of Sigilyph list a different HP.
Mirror Counter is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and is damaged by an attack from your opponent's Pokémon-GX or Pokémon-EX (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), put damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon equal to the damage done to this Pokémon. The attack Sonic Wing lists 80 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. This attack's damage isn't affected by Resistance. Intercept-GX is another attack lists 60× damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 60 damage times the amount of Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
I keep a set binder for Lost Thunder, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Lost Thunder set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sigilyph can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
