Oranguru SV44/94 · Hidden Fates Shiny Vault

Oranguru is Pokédex #765, generation 7 (Alola). Oranguru is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 120 HP.

Oranguru sits at SV44/94 in Hidden Fates Shiny Vault, position 44 of 94. Before it is SV43 Noibat, and after it is SV45 Type: Null. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 23, 2019. The printed size is 94, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

Instruct is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may draw cards until you have 3 cards in your hand. The attack Psychic lists 60+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 20 more damage times the amount of Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Deep in the jungle, high in the lofty canopy, this Pokémon abides. On rare occasions, it shows up at the beach to match wits with Slowking."

Oranguru (#765) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2024. The earliest other card is Oranguru 113/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). Both list 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Shiny. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Akira Komayama illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Oranguru list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Akira Komayama. I count 239 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Oranguru can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
