Oranguru 199/185 · Vivid Voltage

Oranguru is Pokédex #765, generation 7 (Alola). Oranguru is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 120 HP.

Oranguru sits at 199/185 in Vivid Voltage, position 199 of 203. Before it is 198 Galarian Obstagoon, and after it is 200 Cape of Toughness. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 13, 2020. The printed size is 185. This checklist is longer, at 203 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 185. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

Primate Wisdom is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may switch a card from your hand with the top card of your deck. The attack Whap Down lists 70 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It knows the forest inside and out. If it comes across a wounded Pokémon, Oranguru will gather medicinal herbs to treat it." The regulation mark is D.

Oranguru (#765) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2024. The earliest other card is Oranguru 113/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). Both list 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Secret. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and PLANETA Mochizuki illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Oranguru list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Mochizuki. I count 131 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Vivid Voltage set binder is where a full Vivid Voltage set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Oranguru can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
