Vikavolt SM208/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Vikavolt is Pokédex #738, generation 7 (Alola). Vikavolt is a Stage 2 Lightning Pokémon with 150 HP. The card says it evolves from Charjabug. In this catalog that name is Charjabug (#737).

Vikavolt sits at SM208/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 211 of 251. Before it is SM207 Sudowoodo, and after it is SM209 Stakataka. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Stealthy Body is listed as Ability. If there is any Stadium card in play, this Pokémon has no Weakness. The attack Electricannon lists 120+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Lightning, Lightning. You may discard all Lightning Energy from this Pokémon. If you do, this attack does 100 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It has an organ that generates electricity in its abdomen. It concentrates energy in its strong jaws and fires off powerful jolts of electricity."

Vikavolt (#738) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Vikavolt 52/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). Both list 150 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Hitoshi Ariga illustrated that card, and Misa Tsutsui illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 10 other cards of Vikavolt list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Misa Tsutsui. I count 94 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Vikavolt can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
