SM Black Star Promos is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. Tapu Fini is a Basic Water Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Tapu Fini (#788), generation 7 (Alola).

Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated this card. The same name is on 158 other cards in the catalog.

Tapu Fini (#788) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2021. The earliest other card is Tapu Fini SM203/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). Both list 120 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Ryuta Fuse illustrated that card, and Sanosuke Sakuma illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 5 other cards of Tapu Fini list a different HP.

The attack Water Pulse lists 30 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Shining Current is another attack lists 60+ damage. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. If any of your Water Pokémon was healed during this turn, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "The dense fog it creates brings the downfall and destruction of its confused enemies. Ocean currents are the source of its energy."

I keep a set binder for SM Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SM Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Tapu Fini can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Island guardians. I still need this card.
