Heatran is a Basic Metal Pokémon with 130 HP. In the Pokédex this is Heatran (#485), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

tetsuya koizumi illustrated this card. The same name is on 62 other cards in the catalog.

Heatran (#485) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Heatran LV.X DP31/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Heatran LV.X, while this one is Heatran. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Shizurow illustrated that card, and tetsuya koizumi illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 4, and here it is 3. 21 other cards of Heatran list a different HP.

The attack Guard Press lists 30 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Boiling Impact is another attack lists 130 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. Discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Psychic -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Boiling blood, like plasma, circulates through its body. It makes its dwelling place in volcanic caves."

I keep a set binder for SM Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SM Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Heatran can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
