Gumshoos SM97/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Gumshoos is Pokédex #735, generation 7 (Alola). Gumshoos is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Yungoos. In this catalog that name is Yungoos (#734).

Gumshoos sits at SM97/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 98 of 251. Before it is SM96 Heatran, and after it is SM98 Pikachu. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Identify lists 20+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent reveals their hand. If you find a Pokémon there, this attack does 80 more damage. Whap Down is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It adores having Rattata and Raticate for dinner, but as it's diurnal, it never encounters them. This Pokémon boasts incredible patience."

Gumshoos (#735) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Gumshoos-GX 110/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card is named Gumshoos-GX, while this one is Gumshoos. That card lists 210 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo GX, and here it is Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Gumshoos list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gumshoos can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
