Victini ex 33/197 · Obsidian Flames

Victini is Pokédex #494, generation 5 (Unova). Victini ex is a Basic ex Fire Pokémon with 190 HP.

Victini ex sits at 33/197 in Obsidian Flames, position 33 of 230. Before it is 32 Camerupt, and after it is 34 Darumaka. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on August 11, 2023. The printed size is 197. This checklist is longer, at 230 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

The attack Strafe lists 30 damage. The cost is Fire. You may switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Victory Flame is another attack lists 220 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. During your next turn, this Pokémon can't attack. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Victini (#494) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Victini BW32/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card is named Victini, while this one is Victini ex. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 190 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Double Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Saki Hayashiro illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Victini list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Saki Hayashiro. I count 40 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Obsidian Flames set binder is where a full Obsidian Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Victini can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
