Probopass 102/167 · Twilight Masquerade

Probopass is Pokédex #476, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Probopass is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 140 HP. The card says it evolves from Nosepass. In this catalog that name is Nosepass (#299).

Probopass sits at 102/167 in Twilight Masquerade, position 102 of 226. Before it is 101 Nosepass, and after it is 103 Timburr. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on May 24, 2024. The printed size is 167. This checklist is longer, at 226 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Assault Laser lists 80+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool attached, this attack does 80 more damage. Land Crush is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Probopass radiates such a powerful magnetic field that nearby electrical appliances are rendered useless while it's around." The regulation mark is H.

Probopass (#476) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Probopass G DP43/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Probopass G, while this one is Probopass. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 140 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Ryota Saito illustrated that card, and OKUBO illustrated this one. 11 other cards of Probopass list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads OKUBO. I count 20 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Twilight Masquerade set binder is where a full Twilight Masquerade set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Probopass can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
