Kingambit 113/102 · Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos

Kingambit is Pokédex #983, generation 9 (Paldea). Kingambit is a Stage 2 Darkness Pokémon with 170 HP. The card says it evolves from Bisharp. In this catalog that name is Bisharp (#625).

Kingambit sits at 113/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos, position 113 of 165. Before it is 112 Bisharp, and after it is 114 Picnicker. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on January 1, 2023. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 165 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 102. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Elbow Strike lists 40 damage. The cost is Darkness. Slicing Blade is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The regulation mark is H.

Kingambit (#983) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2026. The earliest other card is Kingambit 130/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos (2023). That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. Oku illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is G, and here it is H. Retreat cost there is 4, and here it is 2. 2 other cards of Kingambit list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set binder is where a full Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Kingambit can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
