Pani Kobayashi illustrated this card. The same name is on 39 other cards in the catalog.

Houndstone (#972) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2025. The earliest other card is Houndstone ex 162/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos (2023). That card is named Houndstone ex, while this one is Houndstone. That card lists 260 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. The regulation mark there is H, and here it is G. 8 other cards of Houndstone list a different HP.

The attack Delve lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Put up to 2 Item cards from your discard pile into your hand. Spooky Shot is another attack lists 100 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Houndstone spends most of its time sleeping in graveyards. Among all the dog Pokémon, this one is most loyal to its master." The regulation mark is G.

I keep a set binder for Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Houndstone can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
