Zacian 139/192 · Rebel Clash

Zacian is Pokédex #888, generation 8 (Galar). Zacian is a Basic Metal Pokémon with 120 HP.

Zacian sits at 139/192 in Rebel Clash, position 139 of 209. Before it is 138 Duraludon, and after it is 140 Zamazenta. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on May 1, 2020. The printed size is 192. This checklist is longer, at 209 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Energy Stream lists 30 damage. The cost is Metal, Colorless. Attach a Metal Energy card from your discard pile to this Pokémon. Smashing Edge is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. Flip a coin. If tails, discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Now armed with a weapon it used in ancient times, this Pokémon needs only a single strike to fell even Gigantamax Pokémon." The regulation mark is D.

Zacian (#888) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Zacian V SWSH018/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Zacian V, while this one is Zacian. That card lists 220 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hideki Ishikawa illustrated this one. 26 other cards of Zacian list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hideki Ishikawa. I count 100 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Rebel Clash set binder is where a full Rebel Clash set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Zacian can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
