Hatterene 85/192 · Rebel Clash

Hatterene is Pokédex #858, generation 8 (Galar). Hatterene is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 150 HP. The card says it evolves from Hattrem. In this catalog that name is Hattrem (#857).

Hatterene sits at 85/192 in Rebel Clash, position 85 of 209. Before it is 84 Hattrem, and after it is 86 Milcery. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on May 1, 2020. The printed size is 192. This checklist is longer, at 209 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Mind Hat is listed as Ability. Once during your turn, you may use this Ability. Each player discards a card from their hand. (Your opponent discards first.) The attack Dripping Grudge lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Put 1 damage counter on your opponent's Active Pokémon for each Pokémon in your discard pile. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It emits psychic power strong enough to cause headaches as a deterrent to the approach of others." The regulation mark is D.

Hatterene (#858) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2023. The earliest other card is Hatterene V SWSH055/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Hatterene V, while this one is Hatterene. That card lists 200 HP, and this one lists 150 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. PLANETA Igarashi illustrated that card, and Kagemaru Himeno illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Hatterene list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kagemaru Himeno. I count 656 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Rebel Clash set binder is where a full Rebel Clash set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Hatterene can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
