Victini 36/264 · Fusion Strike

Victini is Pokédex #494, generation 5 (Unova). Victini is a Basic Fire Pokémon with 80 HP.

Victini sits at 36/264 in Fusion Strike, position 36 of 284. Before it is 35 Magcargo, and after it is 37 Pansear. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 12, 2021. The printed size is 264. This checklist is longer, at 284 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Fiery Cheering lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Attach a basic Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Flare is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Fire. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When it shares the infinite energy it creates, that being's entire body will be overflowing with power." The regulation mark is E.

Victini (#494) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2026. The earliest other card is Victini BW32/101 in BW Black Star Promos (2011). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. 32 other cards of Victini list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Mitsuhiro Arita. I count 721 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Fusion Strike set binder is where a full Fusion Strike set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Victini can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards. I still need this card.
