Dusknoir 62/172 · Brilliant Stars

Dusknoir is Pokédex #477, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Dusknoir is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 160 HP. The card says it evolves from Dusclops. In this catalog that name is Dusclops (#356).

Dusknoir sits at 62/172 in Brilliant Stars, position 62 of 186. Before it is 61 Dusclops, and after it is 63 Chimecho. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 25, 2022. The printed size is 172. This checklist is longer, at 186 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Special Transfer is listed as Ability. As often as you like during your turn, you may move a Special Energy from 1 of your Pokémon to another of your Pokémon. The attack Devour Soul lists 120 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "At the bidding of transmissions from the spirit world, it steals people and Pokémon away. No one knows whether it has a will of its own." The regulation mark is F.

Dusknoir (#477) has 17 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Dusknoir 2/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Takabon illustrated that card, and otumami illustrated this one. 13 other cards of Dusknoir list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads otumami. I count 44 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Brilliant Stars set binder is where a full Brilliant Stars set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Dusknoir can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
