Special Delivery Charizard SWSH075/307

Special Delivery Charizard, SWSH Black Star Promos #SWSH075

Charizard is Pokédex #006, generation 1 (Kanto). Special Delivery Charizard is a Stage 2 Fire Pokémon with 160 HP. The card says it evolves from Charmeleon. In this catalog that name is Charmeleon (#005).

Special Delivery Charizard sits at SWSH075/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos, position 75 of 304. Before it is SWSH074 Special Delivery Pikachu, and after it is SWSH076 Zacian V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Happy Delivery lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Search your deck for up to 2 Item cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. Flamethrower is another attack lists 160 damage. The cost is Fire, Fire, Colorless. Discard an Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It spits fire that is hot enough to melt boulders. It may cause forest fires by blowing flames." The regulation mark is D.

Charizard (#006) has 106 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 51 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Charizard 4/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Charizard, while this one is Special Delivery Charizard. That card lists 120 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and The Pokémon Company Art Team illustrated this one. 98 other cards of Charizard list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads The Pokémon Company Art Team. I count 15 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SWSH Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SWSH Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Charizard can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Charizard cards. I still need this card.
