SWSH Black Star Promos is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 15, 2019. The printed size is 307. This checklist is longer, at 304 cards. Cinderace is SWSH278/307, in position 278 of 304 on this checklist. Before it is SWSH277 Rillaboom, and after it is SWSH279 Inteleon. The listed rarity is Promo.

Cinderace is a Stage 2 Single Strike Fire Pokémon with 170 HP. In the Pokédex this is Cinderace (#815), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Raboot. In this catalog that name is Raboot (#814).

Yuya Oka illustrated this card. The same name is on 37 other cards in the catalog.

Cinderace (#815) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 11 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2026. The earliest other card is Cinderace V SWSH015/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Cinderace V, while this one is Cinderace. That card lists 210 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. Both list the rarity Promo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Yuya Oka illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is E. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 15 other cards of Cinderace list a different HP.

Crisis Power is listed as Ability. This Pokémon's attacks do 30 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon for each Prize card your opponent has taken (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Fireball Shot lists 150 damage. The cost is Fire, Colorless. During your next turn, this Pokémon can't attack. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It's skilled at both offense and defense, and it gets pumped up when cheered on. But if it starts showboating, it could put itself in a tough spot." The regulation mark is E.

I keep a set binder for SWSH Black Star Promos, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the SWSH Black Star Promos set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Cinderace can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Galar starters and Single Strike. I still need this card.
